Our client, part of the Cotswold Food Partnership Family, came to us with two clear objectives. These were to improve production throughput by increasing running speeds, whilst reducing labour costs
What we did
Our teams provided an in line, fully automated doughnut creaming line. This was fully commissioned and operational for the client within 12 weeks of taking the order.
The outcome
Production capacity has increased by 60%, allowing and increased customer base on site. Crucially, the margin across all doughnut products has improved, resulting in better profitability. The customer is also benefitting from consistent quality, reducing customer complaints as it is a better looking product. It has also resulted in an increase in sales. Waste has also been reduced due to less handling and damages.
